		<description><![CDATA[One important set of data that is hard to get is the number of children whose home language is other than English.  We have it for the K-12 years, but we need it for the preschool years.  One thing we do know from census data  is that the number of younger children is greater than the one for school age children.  If we want to close the achievement gap with early care and education, we have to see how this challenge is growing in the low-income areas.]]></description>
